Corky joined DLE in 2010. He has extensive experience in the entertainment industry on a worldwide basis. Corky regularly speaks on the business and legal aspects of feature film development, including tax incentives. He has participated in seminars and conducted speaking engagements throughout the United States and Canada on legal issues impacting the entertainment industry. He has been a lead speaker for many years at various film festivals throughout the country, inlcuding the Sundance Film Festival, where he has conducted seminars on "Funding" and "Legal and Business Pitfalls, Screenplays through Distribution." Corky has been the attorney on numerous film projects across the country. He has represented and served as executive producer on feature films and theatre projects, including: "The Sum of Us" starring Russell Crowe (winner of the Australian Academy Award for Best Film)
Corky teaches entertainment law as an Adjunct Professor at Northwestern Law School and John Marshall Law School. He previously developed a syllabus for and taught a similar course at Columbia College in its Film Department. He has also written articles for Screen Magazine and other film and entertainment periodicals. He has successfully worked with governors and United States Congressmen in several states to implement new laws and federal tax incentives for investments in qualifying film and television projects, which led to Sections 181 and 199 of The American Jobs Creation Act of 2004 and its 2008 extension and amendment. Corky has also authored a reference book covering federal and state tax incentives for films.

Kimberley is an experienced Film, Television and Digital Media Producer, as well as Producer of Marketing & Distribution. She is a veteran film festival director and programmer. Kimberley is the Founder and Executive Director of the HOLLYWOOD SHORTS Film Festival, established in 1998 and its Emerging Filmmakers Program. Sponsored by Panavision, Kodak & Screen Actors Guild, the EFP nurtures first time feature filmmakers and provide essential production and development services. Kimberley is also a well respected film festival strategist and consultant, with extensive relationships in the film festival and distributor/acquisitions community. Kimberley participates in film festivals around the world as a programmer, panelist and jurist; including American Pavilion at Cannes, Los Angeles Independent Film Festival, AFI Film Fest, Jamerican Film Festival, Newport Beach Film Festival, Del Ray Beach Film Festival, COL-COA French Film Festival and Palm Spring International ShortFest. Kimberley recently completed her three-year tenure as the Chair of the Cinematic Arts panel of YoungARTS, the nominating committee for the U.S. Presidential Scholars of the Arts on behalf of the White House and the National Endowments of the Arts.

Daniel Sunshine is an entrepreneur who develops media that makes a positive difference in the world. He has had numerous leadership roles in finance and business development with companies ranging from PBS to National Geographic to a start-up TV and radio network dedicated to healthy living and the environment eventually purchased by Gaiam. At National Geographic, Daniel was the Manager of Corporate Strategies and Development where he helped to develop the Society’s mobile, gaming, virtual worlds and social media initiatives. Also at National Geographic, as a Financial Analyst, Daniel was responsible for the fiscal integrity of over $10M in international and domestic production spending. Daniel has an MBA from the George Washington University and a BA from Hampshire College in Film Production. Daniel enjoys applying his business and creative backgrounds to bringing innovation to life.
Desma comes from a classically trained background with a BA in Architecture from Otis Parson’s Art Institute, BFA in Fine Arts from Whittier College and an MFA in Set Design for Theater and Film From NYU Tische School of the Arts. Her design passions lie in both film and theater. In her theater career she has designed over 60 productions in LA and NY. She has garnered 4 Ovations Awards, 10 Ovation Nominations, 8 Valley Theater League Awards, 3 LA Weekly Awards, and a Lifetime Achievement Award for Excellence in Design from the LA Drama Critics Circle. The State of California Senate has also recognized her, with a certificate for Artistic Achievement in Set Design. In addition to her theater career she has had a successful Film and TV career which would include Live Free Die Hard, Hotel For Dogs, Hangover, Hangover II, Terminator Salvation, Due Date, Iron Man 3, Looney Tunes Back in Action, Stuart Little II, Sky High, The Amanda Show, All That, Criminal Minds, and many others.
Tris Beezley is an on-set, behind the scenes still photographer, and graphic designer for film & theatre. She is based in the Los Angeles area, but has traveled far and wide on some amazing assignments. The latest one being the "Tribute to the Masters Concert" at the mystical Bayon Temple in Siem Reap, Cambodia. Tris' passion is to help you capture, document or promote your project or production.
Jim has over 20 years of experience working for some of the leaders in the industry. He was most recently the EVP of sales at Affinity/ Bold Films where he sold a wide range of titles including RABBIT HOLE starring Nicole Kidman and Aaron Eckhart, DRIVE starring Ryan Gosling and Carey Mulligan and the Joe Dante film, THE HOLE in 3D. Prior to working at Bold he was the Vice President of International Sales at Element Films where he handled the hit thriller MR. BROOKS starring Kevin Costner & Demi Moore, FIVE FINGERS with Laurence Fishburne & Ryan Philippe and THE LAST TIME with Michael Keaton and Brendan Fraser. He also served as the Vice President of Sales and Distribution at Myriad Pictures where he was responsible for the theatrical sales of critically acclaimed titles such as The Academy Award Nominated biopic, KINSEY starring Liam Neeson, LITTLE FISH starring Cate Blanchett and The 2004 Toronto Film Festival Opening Night Selection BEING JULIA with Academy Award Nominated performance from Annette Bening. During his tenure with Myriad, he also handled the Edie Sedgwick biopic, FACTORY GIRL starring Sienna Miller, Guy Pearce & Hayden Christensen, THE GOOD GIRL with Jennifer Aniston & Jake Gyllenhaal and COPYING BEETHOVEN starring Ed Harris & Diane Kruger. He had the pleasure of also working at Lakeshore International, Summit Entertainment and The Samuel Goldwyn Company.
C. Raul Espinoza is a theatrical marketing consultant/producer. He currently consults the Independent Shakespeare Company as well as About Productions and their upcoming production of Evangeline in collaboration with Louis Perez of Los Lobos. Raul recently completed working on John Leguizamo’s Ghetto Klown at the Montalban Theatre, Standing on Ceremony The Gay Marriage Plays produced by Joan Stein and Stuart Ross at the L.A. Gay and Lesbian Center; Davis Gaines and the SOS Mentor fundraiser Music of the Night: An Evening with Davis Gaines at the Alex Theatre. Raul offered his marketing expertise to the Los Angeles run of the National Broadway Tour of West Side Story in addition to the 1st National Tour of the 2008 Tony Award Winning Musical In The Heights both at the Pantages Theatre. He spent 7 years as Audience Development Manager of Center Theatre Group (The Ahmanson Theatre, The Mark Taper Forum, and The Kirk Douglas Theatre). Raul was a marketing consultant on Luis Alfaro’s Black Butterfly, Jaguar Girl, Piñata Woman and Other Super Hero Girls Like Me; Suzan-Lori Parks’ Topdog/Underdog, Culture Clash’s Chavez Ravine, Luis Alfaro’s Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, Slanguage by Universes, Baz Luhrmann’s La Bohème and John Leguizamo’s Sexaholix…A Love Story.
